Mr. Schleifer and Mr. Morrissey accompanied a team of five second-year students Messrs. Chambless, Flagg, Russell, Ward and Webster—to New York City during spring recess to participate in an IBM management game competition, with teams from eight other graduate business schools.
Mr. Lent has completed a study of the structure of commercial banking in the United States, for a report of the American Banking Association to the Commission on Money and Credits.
Mr. Quinn has been actively engaged in a variety of activities, including: leading a series of seminars in a management development program at the State Mutual Life Assurance Company, Worcester, Mass.; an article "How to Evaluate Research Output," appearing in the March-April issue of the Harvard Business Review; and talks before the Greenwich, Conn., chapter of National Association of Accountants on "Accounting Controls for Research and Development," on March 15; an orientation seminar of the American Management Association in New York City, on February 22, on "Long Range Planning of Research and Development," under the chairmanship of Mr. Griswold; and the Air Force Logistics School, Dayton, Ohio, March 25, on "Factors in Evaluating Research Organizations and Output."
A series of four lectures was presented by Mr. Olsen to the senior officers in the School of Administration at Fort Sam Houston, on March 9-11. Earlier in March he discussed current trends and developments in collegiate education for administration with the preceptors of graduate students in hospital administration at the Chicago University Graduate School of Business Administration.

A special Tuck Salute to Paul Sanderson T'23, who specialized in personnel management in his second-year at Tuck and later received his M.D. degree at Harvard Medical School '29, for having recently delivered his 10,000th baby, as an obstetrician.
A major face-lifting undertaking during spring recess was the replacement of the original floor covering in the main lobby and adjoining corridors of Tuck School with an appealing vinyl tile surface.

Tuck's "business team" have lunch on the job while competing in the college management games at IBM's education center in New York. Decisions made by the team were fed into an IBM computer to determine how they would fare in a competitive economy. "Playing" for the Tuck School team were: Donald Flagg, Edward Russell, Jerome Chambless, David Ward, and Frederick Webster.
