Dean Hill attended the Executive Committee meeting of the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business Administ ration held in Chicago, February 11 to 14.

Dean Hill and Messrs. Broehl, Davis,Guest, Hennessey, Morrissey, Moss and Schleifer attended a special meeting at Electronics Park, General Electric Company, Syracuse, N.Y., on January 26, with a group of General Electric executives for joint discussion of decision making processes at the corporate-division level.

Mr. Guest presented a paper "Job Design and the Utilization of Human Resources" at the Management Analysis Conference, sponsored by the Executive Office of the President, at Berkeley Springs, W.Va., on February 1. His book "Organizational Change: The Effect of Successful Leadership" has been published by the Irwin-Dorsey Press.

Visiting lecturers during the month of January included: Harrison F. Dunning '30, executive vice president of the Scott Paper Company, who participated in two class sessions of the Business Policy course; Edward A. Bayne of the American Universities Field Staff, who spoke to a group of Tuck students on the North East Mediterranean North African Economy; Patrick B. McGinnis, president of the Boston and Maine Railroad, who met with the members of the Business and Society course; John E. Grimm '44, vice president of the Colgate-Palmolive Company, who made a special presentation to the Marketing Course; M. C. Baker, vice president, director of marketing for the Post Cereal Division, General Foods Corpora- tion, who met with the Marketing Seminar; Ralph Hidy, professor of business history, Harvard Business School, who talked to the Business and Society course regarding the Standard Oil Company; Arthur L. CarterT'59 of Carter, Berline, Potoma and Weill, who met with the members of the Financial Management (B) course; and V. R. Ciceone, assistant comptroller. Maxwell House Coffee Division of General Foods Corporation, who spoke to the members of the Financial Management course on the duties of the corporate comptroller.

Ed Luitweiler T'13, treasurer of the American Stay Company, Maiden. Mass., has been elected a director of the Maiden Trust Company. Dick Heydt T'26 has been named president and chief administrative officer of the National Bank of Toledo. Larry Lougee'29 has been elected a trust officer of the National Bank of Boston. Art BoardmanT'32 was recently elected executive vice president of the Irving Trust Company, New York City. Max Field T'34, executive vice president of the New England Shoe and Leather Association, has been honored by the association's directors for his completion of 25 years of service to the organization. Carl Vickland '34 has been named vice president of the Midwest Drug District of McKesson & Robbins, Inc.

Herb Ray T'51 has been promoted to assistant vice president of the First National Bank of Chicago. Ted Keith T'52 was elected vice president of the Worcester County National Bank, Worcester, Mass. in December. Tom Davidson T'56, assistant professor of marketing, the University of Connecticut School of Business Administration, has been elected to the board of directors of Marketing Strategy, Inc. GeorgeBatchelder T'57 has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Suprenant Manufacturing Company, Clinton. Mass., a subsidiary of I. T. & T. Corporation. Phil KronT'61 recently completed the eight-week orientation course for Medical Service Corps officers at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
