The Tuck Board of Overseers held their fall meeting in Hanover on October 14.

Dean Hill attended the meetings of the executive committee of the American Association of Collegiate Business Schools in Chicago, October 24-25, and met with Tuck alumni in the Chicago area at the Chicago Yacht Club Wednesday, October 26. He also met with the Public Relations Committee of the Alumni Council in New York on October 27 and attended a meeting of Procter & Gamble in Quincy October 28. During the week of October 30-November 4 Dean Hill visited Colgate University, Hamilton College, University of Rochester, Hobart College and Cornell University to meet with students interested in graduate business schools.

Mr. Olsen attended the annual fall meeting of the Trustees of Nichols College of Business Administration on October 1. As chairman of the Nichols College Joint Council of Trustees, Administration and Faculty, he conducted meetings on October 28-29 to plan for further development and improvement of admissions, curriculum and facilities of the college.

Bob Brown T'17 retired on August 31 as chairman of the board of Nashua Corporation, Nashua, N. H., after 41 years of service with the company; John White '17 is serving as assistant professor at the C. W. Post College (Liberal Arts) of Long Island University; Hal Braman T'22 is retiring as personnel manager and vice president of the American Brass Company and is building a home on New Boston Road in Norwich, Vt.; Larry Gordon '40 has been named director of research of the aluminum tubing division of LaPointe Industries, Rockville, Conn.; Bob Krone '40 has been promoted to director of personnel, McDonnell Aircraft; Fred Gushing Jr. T'47, one of the owners of Currier & Company, Lebanon, N: H., has been busily engaged in a ten-week celebration of the store's 100th anniversary; Gil Shattuck T'50 has recently announced his engagement to Sieglinde Elizabeth Pfaller of Vienna, Austria; Harvey Kelley T'53 has been named director of research and development of the National Association of Insurance Agents; Fred Neumann T'53 was married recently to Grace Elizabeth Ann Robinson of Lewiston, Idaho.

John Peterson T'54 has been appointed abrasive engineer in Denver, Colo., district by the Norton Company, Worcester, Mass.; Dave Mete '54 married Betsey Alden Casey of Coral Gables, Fla., in September; FredEngland T'54 qualified for the professional designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter on Sept. 15, 1960; Bob MalinT'54 was engaged in July to Gail Lassiter of Winston-Salem, N. C.; Fred Whittemore T'54 returned recently from a trip to Australia made on behalf of Morgan Stanley & Co., financial advisers to the Commonwealth; Pete jtenyon T'55 has been appointed National Accounts Manager for the Stop & Save Trading Stamp Corporation: Bob Dean T'55 was engaged in August to Katherine Camilla Barringer, formerly of Greensboro, N. C.; TedHartshorn Jr. T'55 was married in August to Marion Virginia Smith of Mansfield, Ohio; Gene Youngentob T'56 as associate of William S. Braunig Agency for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Boston recently completed specialized study at Springfield, Mass., for career underwriting.

John Parke T'57 has accepted a position with the Advertising Department of Procter and Gamble, Cincinnati, Ohio; Jim CraigT'57 was engaged recently to Christa Kammire of Pittsburgh; Howard Newman T'57 has become engaged to Carol Ann Redstone of New York City; Pete Danford '58 was recently married to Susan Jane Geiger of Canton, Ohio, and they are residing in Shaker Heights; Art Carter T'59 has completed a study "Yardney Electric Corporation" for Carter, Berlind, Potoma & Weill; Myles Slosberg T'59 was married in August to Joyce Gail Shemin of Forest Hills, N. Y.; Andy Petersen T'59 was married in August to Marion Ann Henshaw of Wakefield, Mass.; Bill Roxby '59 recently married Corinne Tither of Glenside, Pa.; Charlie Cole '60 was married in September to Sarah Rodgers of Shaker Heights, Ohio; Ed Willi T'60 was recently engaged to Maria Cecelia Cubillos of Vina del Mar, Chile; Whit Marchand T'60 married Stephanie Louise Knoch of Englewood, N. J., in September.
