Ben Taylor recently completed paratroop training at the 82nd Airborne Division Jump School in Fort Bragg, N. C. Ben was working for Armstrong Cork Co. and living with Erwin in New York when he was recalled to active duty. Dave Tonneson of Tonneson and Larson, a New England accounting firm, became a partner in Harris, Kerr, Forster under the January merger of those two and a Hawaiian firm. John Liebman and another attorney have formed a law partnership in Beverly Hills, Calif. John went to UCLA Law School and is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Brof Brophy joined Corning Fibre Box Corporation in 1960 and has just been made superintendent of their Frederick, Md., plant, where production of a new line of plastic packaging components is about to begin.
Joan Chessman, a secretary at Prudential Insurance Co. in San Francisco, is engaged to Pete Shipman. Joan's home is in Rocky River, Ohio, and she went to Michigan State. Pete is with Merrill Lynch in San Francisco. Tony Richter and Katherine Parsons were married in Fairport, N. Y., on March 24. Kathie graduated from Russell Sage College in 1959. Tony served in the Army and is in the actuarial division of New York Life. They took a wedding trip to Florida and are living in Scarsdale, N. Y.
Roy Friedman is in Savannah doing theater publicity work. Paul Heller is living in Sloatsburg, N. Y. Dick and Marianne Karslake are living in Alden, N. Y. Dick is a salesman for National Gypsum in Buffalo. Bill Magavern is out of the Army and living in Buffalo. Jack Ramaley is a salesman for U.S. Gypsum in Minneapolis and is living in Mahtomedi, Minn. Chub Montelius is product manager for Clairol cosmetics in New York. Chub is married and has a son. Tom Pencheon is still enjoying his student-teacher life in Paris.
Don Marriott is managing his father's heating and air conditioning business and developing equipment and a new manufacturing process. Don is living in Verona, N. J., where he is active in the Young Republicans and was partly responsible for Verona's impressive Republican showing in the last election. Fred and Jeri Baker have a son and daughter and are living in Mt. Tabor, N. J. Fred finished his tour in the Air Force and should be added to the list of classmates in real estate. Woodsy Fraser has been in television since graduation and is now producing a successful afternoon live television show in Cleveland. Also in Cleveland are Mickey and Barbara Bloomfield and family. Mickey is with Northwestern Mutual. Don Hamson is living in Beverly, Mass., and works for Minneapolis-Honeywell in the Boston computer division. Tom and Mildred Holdorf are living in Menominee Falls, Wise. Will Cohen works for N.B.C. in New York. Dave Brewer lives on Long Island and teaches in the public school system. Roger Joys was married last summer and lives in Milwaukee, where he is in the insurance business.
Hank Holt finished a four-year tour in Army intelligence in June, 1961. He was discharged from Regensburg, Germany, and embarked on a trip through the Far East, thumbing and walking and learning about the places he saw and peoples he encountered. In addition to Europe, he has covered Egypt, the Arab states, spent a long time in Iran, visited Afghanistan, and now has arrived in India, where his most recent address is in Calcutta. He expects to return to the United States in late May or early June.

Roy Brown is living in Caracas. Jake Jacobsen is a technical writer for Honeywell-Datamatic in Wellesley Hills and is living in Bedford, Mass. Dave Losby is a systems engineer for 1.8.M. in Baltimore. Bill Buchanan is southeastern representative for Appleton Wire Works in Montgomery, Ala. Lew Dail is with the Vendo Company in Hasbrouck Heights, N. J., and is living in New York City. Hank and Ann Jaenicke are living in Lancaster, Pa., where Hank is Assistant Professor of Business Administration. Hank earned his master's and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Dave Miller is living in Ithaca, N. Y. Joel Ash is living in Hollis, N. Y., and PaulAichele, in Omaha, Nebr. Andy and KarenMerrels are in Skokie, Ill. Andy is with Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Eric Bramstedt is now with Irving Lundborg & Co. as investment analyst in San Francisco.
I accidentally omitted the physicists in my March column. Bob Long has his master's degree from Yale and is a student and research assistant in the physics lab there. John Goff is doing advanced study in physics at the University of Washington. Also Bob Hall has his master's and Ph.D. and is a Public Health Service Research Fellow in psychology at M.I.T.
I had the pleasant surprise of running into Charlie Murray at Sugar Loaf Mountain in Maine a few weeks ago and had a chance to meet his wife Amanda. Charlie and Amanda were married in December of 1959 in Farmington, Me., where they now are living. Charlie is advertising director and assistant sales manager for Bass boots.
Egil Stigum and Tony Carleton entered the March 24 ski race at Wildcat Mountain. Tony tied with Bob Skinner '40 for first place in the first of what we hope will be an annual alumni giant slalom at the Dartmouth Ski-way March 11. Your secretary had a late night in Boston the night before and with various other excuses came in twentieth in a field of 32 alumni.
