By the time you read this epic, the Christmas Season will be upon us.

As official representative of the class, let me take this opportunity to wish everyone "Happy Holidays" from everyone else, thus saving us all, collectively, hundreds of dollars in Christmas card expenses.

Now with the business out of the way, let's have a look at the recent doings of some of our members. For instance. Al Summer got married back on September 21. Mrs. Summer is the former Sally Louise Pierce of Tucson, Ariz. They are now living in New York City where Al is a partner in Alexander Summer Real Estate Companies. Ron Kley took the step way back on August 31. He was married to Linda Sullivan of Hanover. Ron is now a graduate student at Boston U. Joel Saperstein and Helaine Finkel were married in late September. Joel is in his fourth year at Tufts Med. School and they are living in Brighton.

From Buenos Aires, Argentina, we receive notice of the marriage of John Youle to Maria Iglesias, which took place back on August 24. John is with the U.S. Department of State and is now on two years leave while attending Columbia in NYC.

After three years in the Marines, WoodyWoodworth has donned academic garb and taken a position in the English Department at Worcester Academy. Woody and Diane now have two - Scott, aged 3, and Juli-anne, 8 months. Dick Griggs has recently been named manager of the Westfield, N. J., office of the National Life Insurance Company of Vermont. I've received several press releases on Dick and he really seems to be burning up the insurance league out there. The Griggses have one child, Deborah, 2 years old. Dave Hambleton has been appointed law clerk for a U.S. District ludge in Hartford, Conn.; Dave received his LL.B. at Columbia.

From our West Coast office: Ned andSonja Brown are living in Berkeley while Ned is going for a Ph.D. in Geology. SteveLarsen is married and interning at a hospital in the Bay area. (Sorry, but I don't have the name of Steve's new wife.) BruceClark is teaching at the University of Washington while he works on a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Bruce was recently in Europe on a program designed to acquaint some of the business students of the U.S. with top European business leaders. Quite an honor! Andy Stone is in his Second year at Stanford Business School. Marty Kordick is working for Kordick and Kordick in Los Angeles. He is married and has one child. Many of you remember Marty, I'm sure, even though he was at Dartmouth for only one year. I recall he taught me a fascinating new California vocabulary. Amazing.

Roy Eisenhardt is a law student at the U. of California. I have rather inconclusive evidence that Eric Anderson is also a student at that same school. Eric, please write me to confirm or deny this. Certain people in Mpls. are asking your where-abouts.

Where are they now? — and what are they doing? Saul Baerstein is in Austin, Texas, where he is a Briefing Attorney for the Supreme Court of Texas. John Bracken is in Philadelphia where he is an Investment Analyst for the Philadelphia National Bank (the Brackens had a John Jr. on August 8). Martin Andic is in Oxford, England, where he is doing research in philosophy. Larry Dingman is in Hanover, N. H., where he is a Research Hydrologist for the U.S. Government. Bob Farmer is in Cleveland where he is a tax researcher for Ernst and Ernst. Bob Hager is in Charlotte, N. C., where he is a broadcaster for WBTV. BobHatch is in Minneapolis where he is advertising assistant for General Mills. LouisPerullo is in Boston where he is Media Director for Chirurg and Cairns Advertising Agency. Skip Snyder is in Peoria (Peoria? — I used to work in Peoria) where he works for the Commercial National Bank. TomTrimarco is in Boston where he is a student at B.C. Law School. Pete Herrick is in Bladensburg, Md., where he is an analyst for the Defense Department. FernandoGuerrero is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he is Sales Supervisor for Emery Air Cargo. Herb Maurer is in Albany, N. Y., where he is a medical student (the Maurers had a son Erik on July 7). Bob Peck is in New York where he is in the Army. Pat McLaughlin is in Boston where he is a student at Harvard Med. School. Don McLellan is in San Francisco where he works for Dean Witter and Co. Tom Lanier is in Charlottesville, Va., where he is a medical student. Your Class Secretary is down in his basement where he is now out of news.
