It has been announced that the Dartmouth Medical School Lecture will be delivered this year by Frank J. Dixon, M.D., of the Division of Experimental Pathology, Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla, Calif., on April 3. Dr. Dixon will speak on "The Role of Antigen-Antibody Complexes in Disease."
Congratulations are definitely in order for Jack Wright M'34 who has just taken over the responsibilities of the President of the New Hampshire Medical Society. - JimHiggins M'36 recently conducted a one-man inspection tour of the School. - MikeWright M'38 interrupted his skiing vacation at South Londonderry, Vermont, long enough to meet with us, in his capacity as president of the Nathan Smith Medical Society, to assist in planning details for the May 30 meeting.
While we are passing out bouquets, how about some long-stemmed roses for MontyDuVal M'44 who has undertaken the duties of Dean at the new University of Arizona Medical School. - After all these years in practice, Bill Goulburn M'52 is going back to school to study orthopedics at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania! - Dave Abrahams M'53, now instructing in Psychiatry at UCLA, coauthored an interesting piece of work in the November issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine.
Did you know that the Franklin Flash, Frank Moody M'54, has moved from New York to California but expects to return East to join the Department of Surgery at Virginia this summer? - Carl HarrisonM'54 has received an appointment to the Staff of the Mayo Clinic in Internal Medicine. On a recent trip to Pensacola, I encountered Bob Morse M'56 in the Mustin Beach Officers Club, and enjoyed an excellent dinner and pleasant evening with the Morse family. Bob finishes his Navy stint this summer. - Bill Gallagher M'58 breaks into print again via the arrival of Bill III. — The social columns alerted us to the engagement of Tony Wattleworth M'62 to Carol Huntington of Boston. Tony followed the announcement, appearing in Hanover for a few days of skiing. Another of that class, Ken Quickel M'62, paid us a short visit. And Art Provisor M'62 and DaveSteinberg M'62 functioned as ushers at the marriage of Dan Jackson M'62 to Martina Tabacknik of New York. - The Ken Danielsons M'63 welcomed Christopher Sven on January 3.
