Friday evening, February 15, we had our annual meeting, dinner, and dance at the Germantown Cricket Club. As of the time of writing, almost two weeks in advance of that date, it looks like we'll have a good turnout in spite of inadvertent conflicts with Freshman Fathers Weekend and the Dartmouth-Penn basketball game at Penn. We'll tell you how things finally worked out next month.
Tuesday evening, April 2, we're having another get-together, a stag dinner at the Barclay Hotel on Rittenhouse Square. We had originally expected to have President Dickey as our speaker; but the Rockefeller Foundation took him away from us for that evening, and his schedule could not accommodate an alternate date.
The April 2 program will start with workshops at 4:30 p.m. for Alumni Fund and enrollment and interviewing workers. After cocktails and dinner, Waldo ("Spike") Chamberlin, Dean of Summer Programs, will fill us in on the problems and joys of the summer session, particularly women. Finally, we'll have the "Football Highlights" film on the undefeated 1962 team.
Such an active program requires not only your participation but also your money in terms of Club dues. We've had a healthy early return from the first mailing. If you haven't sent your dues in yet, how about doing so today? Otherwise, we won't be able
