WHAT would be a very respectable snow cover for the middle of winter was still on hand when spring arrived in Hanover last month— by the calendar, that is. As soon as winter-term finals ended on March 19, most students rushed away to greener and warmer climes, but there also were many cars loaded down with skis as well as luggage and cheerful students. The two-week respite ends on April 2, by which time the snow may have shrunk to a mere foot or so.
