When this issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE arrives our Informal Reunion will take place on June 17, 18, and 19 and we look forward to seeing quite a number of classmates, wives, and widows in Hanover. I understand that we will be assigned to Wheeler Hall where we can have a buffet supper in the tent with the class of 1909 on Monday evening. Some of us will be in Hanover on Sunday, June 16 to greet our many friends of the Class of 1908 who are celebrating their 55th reunion.

It is a pleasure to advise you that your class president, Jim O'Neill announces that Leon A. Sprague, 18 Theodore Street, Newington, Conn., will become Bequest Chairman replacing "Judge" McLane who has done such a thorough job. We wish him real success in this new undertaking. Judge and Elizabeth McLane have just returned from an enjoyable trip to Greece.

Fred Lena of Madison, Conn., has returned from the hospital and we hope that his condition continues to show real imrovement.

William (Spike) Sanborn has been released from the Worcester City Hospital and will visit with his daughter, Esther Murray, on Old Cambridge Pike, Concord, Mass., for a month or so.

Edward Ashley has been celebrating his 80th birthday in May by making trips throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin (Oconomowoc) the Indian Country. He hopes to be in Hanover in June.

Roger Brown '05 was host to Bill Smart on his 80th birthday in April at the Smith House, Cambridge, Mass. Bishop Niles and Allan Brown were guests. A good time was had by all.

Classmates having birthdays in June are: 1, Benj. Washburn; 2, Spike Sanborn; 3, Edward Barker; 6, Bob Stokes and George Jamison; 9, Harold Jennings; 11, "Yummie" Harris; 20, "Runt" Martin. A Happy, Healthy Birthday to all of you from your classmates.

We are very proud of Nathaniel Leverone '06 as are all of his friends for his loyalty to Dartmouth and his gift of the Nathaniel Leverone Field House. Nat while in college roomed in #13 Sanborn Hall with Don Williams also of Keene, N. H.; while FrancisB. Boyer and I occupied Room #15 for three years. He was always a good neighbor.

It is also a pleasure to know that "Smiling Jack" Childs '09 has returned home from the Memorial Hospital, Ravenna, Ohio, and that he is making good progress. Here's hoping that he will be in Hanover in June as always.

I look forward to receiving your nice letters, so please keep them coming. Be sure to participate in the 1963 Alumni Fund campaign and make Bob Kenyon your head Class Agent, happy.
