How fast the past month has flown by! As I write these few notes on January 3rd, it seems not more than ten days or two weeks ago that I sent in my class notes for the January issue. Preparations for Christmas, followed by the New Year Holiday, have certainly made time seem very short indeed. Here are a few items which will be of interest.

Henry L. Parker, who recently celebrated his 35th anniversary with the Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago, has just been appointed Administrative Head of the Employee Trust Division which handles all pension plans and profit sharing plans entrusted to that bank. He is also chairman of the trustees of the Employees' Savings and Profit Sharing Trust Fund of Harris Trust, which account, established in 1916, is one of the oldest in the country. Hank is presently a director of the Dartmouth College Alumni Association of Chicago and chairman of its scholarship committee.

Jim (Andrew J.) Oberlander probably holds some sort of record among our classmates. Dr. Jim, Medical Director of the Prudential Insurance Company of America, has very recently been licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey. He already holds licenses from the States of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Illinois. Jim and Madeline are now living at 45 Sandra Circle, Westfield, N. J. Their sons, James '53 and David '55, are said to be avid skiers.

Edwin B. Dooley, former Congressman serving the 26th district of New York for three terms, has joined Jones, Brakeley & Rockwell, Inc. (a New York public relations firm) as Vice President, Washington consultant, and member of the company's policy and planning board. Ed has spent many years in the public relations field. Ed lives at 810 Oakwood Road, Mamaroneck, New York. His son, Edwin B. Jr., graduated from Dartmouth in the same class with David Oberlander '55.

Richard P. ("Wee") McClintock and wife Dorothy have faithfully ministered to the needs of the congregation of Grace Episcopal Church at Medford, Mass., for more than 9Vi years. With the desire to "slow down" a little, "Wee" has just this month become Rector of St. James' Church in Somerville. He will continue as Chaplain to Episcopalians at Tufts College. His new Rectory at 51 Curtis Street, Somerville, is very near the Tufts campus, and not far from his new church. For many years "Wee" has conducted the 1926 Memorial Services in the White Church at Hanover on the occasion of our reunions. He and Dot are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren, ages 2 to 7.

Am glad to report that Dick Husband has had a good recovery from a mid-December operation for "Hiatus hernia" which has troubled him for several years. Being a conscientious Professor of Psychology at Florida State University, Dick timed this to miss as few classes as possible — "the intellect of the students must not be neglected." He reports that Dorothy is doing some substitute teaching, and has her hand in many other outside activities. They were unable to visit their son, Richard W. Jr. '6l, and their grandson in New York State this Christmas vacation.

Our Class is greatly indebted to Professor Ray Nash for his recent contribution of five volumes as additions to our Class Memorial Collection. These books, all pub- lished in Boston or Cambridge between 1836 and 1868, will certainly enhance our substantial Memorial Collection. Professor Nash's gift is all the more appreciated by the Collection Committee inasmuch as he is Honorary Curator of the 1926 Collection.
