On Thursday, February 6, 1964, the Sarasota Club made its annual hegira to Anna Maria Island to enjoy the hospitality of that wonderful group of Dartmouth men who live on the Island. Bob Kenyon '07 was the chairman of this affair, ably assisted by Allen Brown '07. However, the full credit for this annual occasion goes to the whole group and their wives in equal measure. The Roger Browns '05, the Horace Kidgers '03, the Don Hobbs '04, the Seymour Rutherfords '08, and the Leon Spragues '07 were very much in evidence helping to make the luncheon a success.

Nearly seventy alumni, wives, and friends of Dartmouth were on hand to hear ArtAllyn '35 (of Chicago White Sox fame) tell about the problems of Big League Baseball, and Charlotte and Hugh Morrison '26 answer questions about the College. We were especially happy to have Henry Stevens '24 with us as he drove all the way from Naples, a distance of 110 miles, just to make this meeting. No less welcome, although they didn't travel as far, were the Bill Garlands '54, the Milt Burnes '32, the Webster Garsts '22, the George Gregorys 'l7, the Bob Hardys '25, the. Jack O'Donnells 'lB, Warren Kendall '99 and Gil Swett 'l7. Actually, space prohibits listing everyone who was there, much as we would like to.

One of the nicest things about these annual affairs and its finest advertisement is the steady growth in attendance. The first of these luncheons, four years ago, was attended by twenty-two, so it is obvious the appeal this meeting has. As in years past our appreciation again is extended to the fine people of Anna Maria for a marvelous time.
