The annual luncheon during the Christmas holidays for undergraduates was held on December 19 at the Roost in the Providence Civic Center, Steve Little '55 handled the preparations and got a fine turnout of 24 alumni, two parents, 22 undergrads, and one early decision acceptance. Parker Holden '38 introduced three distinguished club members - Trustees Bob Kilmarx '50 and Sandy McCulloch'50 and Alumni Councillor Charlie Raymond'30.

The undergraduates included a higher ratio of coeds than that found on campus. The Dartmouth Plan and the opportunities for foreign study were generally praised. However, concerns were expressed about the effects of the Plan on room priorities and friendships.

Bill Brooks '54 and Mike Messore '54 are taking over some of the enrollment duties formerly handled by Steve Little. Bill announced two early decision acceptances and indicated that applications from the area for regular admission received for interviews already exceed 80. Last year our club interviewed 167; 23 were accepted; and 15 finally agreed to attend, including four coeds, the biggest year yet for little Rhody.
