February has been a relatively uneventful month although certainly much quiet work has been going on in anticipation of the up- coming meeting in early March. John Meek '33, vice president and treasurer of the College, will be here on March 4 and plans are in readiness for this event. More will appear concerning the annual meeting in next month's column.

We are always happy to have new members of the Alumni Association move to Denver and during the past few months we have been happy to welcome Dr William Grant Loomis '53 who has come to Denver to pursue the study of psychiatry at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Also, of interest to Dartmouthites is the recent move to Colorado of Charles R. Cusack '43 and his wife. They have recently purchased the Drowsy Water Guest Ranch at Grandby, Colo., and are out to show the dudes a few things. Chuck was kind enough to send me a post card showing the ranch and it certainly looks intriguing with trout streams beckoning in the background.

Vail Pass Ski Area west of Denver, which is fast becoming a popular resort and which certainly can boast of the finest facilities and deep powder snow, was visited by ColinStewart '48 again this weekend. Colin has had much to do with the architectural development in this area. The undersigned and his wife also enjoyed several days of superb skiing at Vail.

The interviewing and enrollment com- mittees are continuing with their duties and will have some worthwhile results to show us before long I am sure. The Dartmouth Luncheon on the fourth Friday of the month was not held this month because of the proximity to the annual meeting.

More from the Great Divide next month when the snow begins to thaw, and the Dartmouth Cup Race Committee begins to bestir itself and make ready for this Spring skiing event. Ed Hunter '55 and Colin Stewart usually take on this obligation and do a good job.
