The college glee club was in town for an afternoon concert on Sunday, March 22. The Shaker High School auditorium was filled by a most enthusiastic audience of Dartmouth alumni, undergraduates, and friends, as this is certainly one of the more popular events held by this Association. Edward Oberndorf '52 was chairman of the day, and he and his committee of GeorgeKingsley Jr. '54, Fred Harrell '53, JamesFarmer '50, Howard Markt '52, and JohnBloomfield '56 put on a fine performance.
The Association's Annual Dinner meeting for alumni and wives is scheduled for April 22 at the Cleveland Skating Club. This is a new location for this affair and we are looking forward to a most enjoyable evening under the direction of Daniel T. Carroll '47. The election of new Association officers will be held, and Dean Waldo Chamberlain of the Dartmouth Summer School will be the guest speaker.
We will be having a dinner for accepted applicants to the Class of 1968 toward the end of April. This is scheduled for the home of Wally Meckes '42 and all applicants to the college who receive an acceptance on April 15 will be invited.
Fred Harrell '53 will be taking over as secretary of this Association and will be the reporter for this column for the coming two years.
