George H. Colton '35, director of development at Dartmouth, was the guest speaker at the annual dinner held at the Pittsburgh Golf Club in late March. Mr. Colton provided the alumni, their wives and guests, with an entertaining and comprehensive picture of the extensive progress being made in all areas at the college on the hill. Co-chairmen Foster Aborn '56 and Bill Duvall '57 did a splendid job with all the many details, and as usual, the dinner will be long remembered as the highlight of the Club year. Vince Albo '51, Bill Hinkel '33, JimHooker '43, Lam Kerins '40 and Carl Krogh'41 were just a few of the alumni attending.

Paul Merriken and Gus Aberlee, both members of the Class of 1955, have come to Pittsburgh with the U.S. Steel reorganization and are now in regular attendance at the weekly Club Luncheon at Kaufmann's.

On April 23, the Club held a reception at the University Club for prospective members of the class of 1968 and their parents. The meeting was designed to give the new Dartmouth men a better understanding of their college and to answer any questions they or their parents might have. The Club has been holding these affairs for a number of years now with a great deal of success. All candidates from Western Pennsylvania who have been accepted by the college for the incoming freshman class are invited. In a number of cases, the reception has been the deciding factor for these young men in their decision to attend Dartmouth.

Just a reminder from Wayne Komara '53: the Club Picnic will be held Saturday, June 27, 1964 on the grounds of Shady Side Academy in Fox Chapel.
