The date is set and plans are well underway for the big event of our Boston club. The annual dinner will be held on February 1, 1966 in the large and spacious new ballroom of the shiny new Boston hotel, The Sheraton-Boston.
This one is more than a dinner in new surroundings. The entire Dartmouth Glee Club has been invited and has accepted. The speeches will be shorter and the concert will be longer. This one is a must for all of you. This will be the only Eastern appearance of the Dartmouth Glee Club.
In addition we will have President Dickey with us and we have asked Coach Blackman to be on hand and bring one of his superior Massachusetts boys from the football squad. There is a possibility of another personality to be included to say a few words. This will be a very well balanced evening of fun, re-union, song and short talks.
And, yes, the ladies are to be included and are urged to attend.
This annual dinner night has always been the high-spot of the Boston Club's year and we think this will be the best yet. Notices will be mailed to you early; but please make no other dates for Feb. 1. You will be expected at the grand ballroom of the Sheraton-Boston.
