Phoenix

A long but very rewarding executive meeting was held October 4 at the office of DuneNewell '36, our president. We had a luncheon at the Valley National Bank Club room and continued our discussions. Present were Russ Fisher '17, Tower Snow '31, Dune Newell '36, Charles Fay '49, Bill Behrens '56, and Dick Vaules '57. Chief topic was the planning and setting up of a scholarship and enrollment fund. Plans to assist DickVaules '57 in reaching eligible high school men for Dartmouth enrollment in the area in and around Phoenix were formulated.

At the regular meeting of the Club on October 5 the suggestions of the executive committee were approved. Present at the meeting were Otto Meyer '07, Russ Fisher '17, Tower Snow '31, Dick Holbrook '31, Bill Gilmore '34, Dick Loughry '34, Dune Newell '36, Ken Thompson '46. Dan Norton '43, Charles Fay '49, Bill Behrens '56, Dick Vaules '57, Doug Frerichs '46, and James Feltzer '46.

Meetings are held regularly the first Tuesday of the month with luncheon at Arizona Manor, 24th Street and East Camelback. All Dartmouth men are welcome.
