The winter dinner meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Glens Falls and vicinity was held on December 9 at the Queensbury Inn, Glens Falls. Dinner was preceded by a cocktail hour. Approximately forty alumni, wives and guests were in attendance.
Principal speaker was Professor Emeritus James F. Cusick, who was accompanied by his charming wife. Professor Cusick spoke on the Alumni College, relating the accomplishments of its initial session last summer and plans for its second session next August.
Bill Bronk '38, chairman of our inter committee, gave a brief report on his activities. George Davis '28, who was accompanied by his wife Marion, was given special recognition because of his recent election as a member of the Alumni Council. George promised to give the club at its next meeting a full report and accounting of his activities as council member.
The fifty-year class of 1914 was ably represented by Dr. Jim Shields. Others present, with their wives, were: Thompson Griffin '23, Kip Higley '24, Charlie Wood '24, Cooper Rhodes '25, Larry Kenney '28, Roy Middleworth '39, Don Hanks '41, Tuss Hand '43, Henry Brezinski '47, Paul Rouillard '50, Club President Jim Fraser '52, Bob Dean '54, and Phil Berke '58.
