The first meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Club at Columbia University was held on Friday, January 8. Forty-two men were present, representing the Business School, Law School, and Teachers College. Four of the men were professors — three from the business school — Gordy Bjork '57, Fred Webster '59, and Martin Anderson '57; and one from the law school — Russ Brooks '60. Unable to attend, but most enthusiastic about the prospects of the club, were Dean Courtney C. Brown '26, Prof. Nelson Lee Smith '21 and Professor Giulio Pontecorvo Jr. '45, all of the business school.

Following beer and a showing of the Football Highlights film, a brief meeting was held to discuss the purpose of the club and its organization. Elections were held with the following results: President, ScottCreelman '64; Student Representatives, Business School, Tom Spangenberg '64; Law School, Bill Subin '63; Teachers College, Roy Lewicki '64; General Graduate Study, Bud Weinstein '63; Faculty Representatives, Business School, Fred Webster '59; Law School, Russ Brooks '60.

Club members hope to coordinate activities with the Dartmouth Club of New York. Meeting dates were set for March and April.
