It's not too often we are able to advertise a concentrated advance lineup such as Hartford olfers in May, and this issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE is very timely for our purposes. For Dartmouth people hereabouts the month really begins on the second - a day we are certain will be warm, sunny and truly springlike. The occasion will mark the sixth in our series of annual Dartmouth-Yale Rugby matches, and of course the Big Green will be out to avenge last year's loss of the Hartford Cup. This fact should only heighten the usual avid tailgating activities of both teams' supporters, and that comradeship coupled with the eats, drinks, game excitement and perfect weather will truly start the month off right. Ron Wybranowski '61 will be kingpin of the operation, under the able supervision of that long-time Rugbyman, Ted Rice '52.

Luncheon on Wednesday, May 12 (City Club, 10 Allyn St.) holds an unusual experience for Hartford Clubbers. Dick Page '54 and Dan Neiditz '54 have succeeded in obtaining Dean Richard Unsworth and Father William Nolan from their usual active duties at the College. Dean Unsworth is Dean of the Tucker Foundation, and Father Nolan is Chaplain of the Catholic Student Center at Dartmouth. Both will speak to us about the Ecumenical Movement and how it may apply in Hanover.

As a crowning touch to our month (and year) we have somehow engineered the evasive, popular Thaddeus (i.e., Thad) Seymour, Dean of the College, to be with us for our annual meeting on what is tentatively set as May 19. The event will be an evening occasion with a dinner and with wives. Also tentatively set is the place - Hartford Golf Club, but on both date and place you will be hearing more soon in "Smoke Signals."

Finally, just because May is such a bonus month, don't forget the second Wednesday in April (if this issue reaches you in time), for an interesting program is planned for then also.
