Mark your calendar on May 21 for our annual spring dance. The festivities start with cocktails at 7:30, at the Plainfield Country Club. The Club's '65-'66 officers and members of the band will be presented. This will be the wind-up of a remarkable year for our club.
Membership is now in excess of 100. We have active members from the class of 1910 through 1964. A great deal of the credit is due Dick Sameth '59, who, as president, engineered the activities this year. In a pinch for a speaker at" our enrollment reception in March Dick pulled Bob Blackman out of a hat. Blackman spoke for an hour to a group of 150 boys and fathers.
At our party after the Glee Club concert in March we learned that congratulations were due Jim and Mary Ann Gallafin '60. They produced a baby brother for their daughter.
We've had a lot of moves in the last few weeks. Jim and Virginia Lothrop '57 moved into their new home in Scotch Plains. The Art Williams '63 moved into their new place in Cranford. Art is doing an outstanding job as a broker on Wall Street.
John Coe '62 left the family home in Westfield as a Peace Corps representative, to return to Africa. We are proud of his activities.
Remember May 21 will be a big night for the Club's Good Time Charlies. The annual dance has always been a lot of fun, don't miss it.
