I always seem to get more news during the spring when Alumni Fund activities are going full throttle. Before I forget, a special thanks to all '6os who gave their time and money to this year's Fund.

Also, before I forget, Mari and I are now living in the Chicago area. I'll be with Tatham Laird Advertising Agency. It was tough leaving all our friends in Minneapolis, but we won't miss the weather. So, when you write me about your next promotion, I can be reached at 1028 Dinsmore Road, Winnetka, Ill.

Now on to the news. Mark Hinshaw will be spending next year at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Mark was married last June 10 to Candace Ann Ward of Webster Groves, Mo. Word out of Richmond, Va., tells us that Bob Hill has been appointed chief city planner for that city. Bob got his master's in city planning at the University of Pennsylvania in 1962. Since that time he's been in the Army. Wife Suzanne is teaching school.

Rod Isacson married Patricia Ann Peck on April 24, out in Salt Lake City. I'm not sure what Rod's been doing for the last few years, but as of this writing I'm sure he's enjoying his honeymoon in some out of the way spot. Dud and Juliana Smith are living in Minneapolis, while Dud works for the Great Northern Insurance Company. They have one son, Clayton.

Ain Kivimae has recently joined the CARE Mission in Alexandria, Egypt, as an administrator in a country-wide school feeding program. Since graduation, Ain has been a Ist Lieutenant in Korea, and then an assistant director in the training of Peace Corps volunteers. Ain's wife, Barbara, has studied in Cairo and speaks Arabic.

Also settled in a distant land is JasonClark whom we are glad to hear from after a lapse of some years. He has a two-year teaching assignment at St. Leo's College in Fort Portal, Uganda, under the Teachers for East Africa program sponsored by the State Department's A.I.D. branch. Jason left Dartmouth at the end of freshman year and after serving with the Army in Germany finished his college course at UCLA.

My best field reporter, Gene Kohn, has sent another of his nice long letters telling of the doings of many '6os in the New York area. Like tor instance, Ken Weg is working for an international consulting firm in New York. He was recently made Editor in Chief of all their publications. Al Glick is also in the big city and is with Lietesdorfer Public Accountants. Al Friedman is a partner in his father's law firm and also quite active in a lawyers' volunteer civil rights group. SteveSinger is working at Coudert Brothers as a lawyer. Ken Reich is a reporter for Life Magazine and working out of New York.

Mike Menaker and Arnie Ziegler are both employed by the Davis, Polk law firm of New York. They will be joined this fall by Roger Zissu. Roger is presently serving out a clerking assignment to a judge on the Federal District Court. Mark Schacter has just opened his own insurance agency right across the street from Brooks Brothers. BordenPowers works for the Manufacturers Hanover and, rumor has it, is learning to play the banjo during his spare time and coffee breaks. Enough news from our nation's largest. On to other areas.

Down in Memphis, Art Seesel is selling gourmet foods. The Sessels have one child. Out in Denver, Jerry and Kay Boyle are expecting their third child very soon. Jerry is with IBM and specializes in putting their systems into banks. In Dallas, Saul Baernstein is an Associate Professor in the Law School at SMU. He has special responsibility for the development of a Legal Aid Society in the state of Texas. In our nation's capital, Tony Roisman and his wife are both working for the Justice Department. Back in Denver, Bruce and JeriDucker are the parents of young Foster Ducker. Bruce is with a large law firm and teaches a course in the "Modern Novel" at Colorado's night school.
