If I am not mistaken, this will be my last turn at the helm for our class news column. It has been gratifying to know that so many of you have been faithful readers, to say nothing of being sensational newsmakers albeit you may not have realized it until seeing your name in print.

Congratulations! To many of you and hopefully to all for the great start on the Annual Alumni Fund Campaign. The Class of 1960 now leads its group in percentage of contributors and it looks like we could win going away. We still have a long way to go, but results so far have been encouraging. Just keep it up.

I heard from Bob Sanders the other day and he is hard at work on a Master's degree in geology at the State University of lowa. He's taking a bag of tools and a case of beer into the Dogtooth Mountains of British Columbia this summer to hammer rocks or was it get hammered? Oh well, something like that.

Speaking of bags of tools, I want to ask the boys at Tuck how theirs are. It won't be long now before you can throw your own monkey wrenches into the works, get nailed to the wall, and pitch the whole bag out the window.

"Bromo" Celce is flying for the Air Force now as a pilot trainee. He's had his private pilot's license for some time and a year ago flew a Piper Cub Tri-Pacer across the country. Watch it, Fred old boy, they'll be sending you down the Atlantic missile range a hundred miles up.

Here's the first I've heard of a '60 landing a teaching job. Jim Haught will be teaching social studies at Shaker High School, Albany, N. Y. I hope that school name and address is correct.

Howie Frankel is engaged to Judy Ann Weg and plans to be married in August in New York. Howie is presently studying in the med school at Boston University. An August wedding is also in the plans of FrankBell who became engaged to Maureen Coughlin. Frank is in Washington, D. C., as a lieutenant in the Army assigned to the Pentagon.

Francis Galletti and Barbara Hendricks were recently married and have made their home in Bellerose, N. Y. Paul Stone married Faith Vandenfoergh on March 18 in Brattleboro, Vt. Owen Dow, Ain Kivimae, TomAshby, and Dick Gale were all ushers.

Other engagements this month are those of: Bob Caulfield and Frances Gregory, JoeTausta and Pamela Fitch, Bruce Hulbert and Margaret Roos, Al Pieper and Louisa Plumb, Al Stowe and Betsy Wingebach.

Jim Foch will be moving to New York with his wife to begin work at the Rockefeller Institute towards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Jim received a fellowship at the Institute and in February resigned from the Dartmouth Medical School.

Dick Ossen is in the Army down at Fort Devens and is a member of the company singing group known as the "Able - Aires." After the Army Dick expects to enter Wharton School of Business for his M.B.A.

Spence Morgan is working for the St. Regis Paper Company in the Engineering and Machining Division in Providence. This, he feels, is a logical place to be since he majored in history. A few weeks ago in John Adams' apartment in Brooklyn Heights he got together with a few of the boys — Chuck Brower, Bob Reid, Phil Clarke, Mickey Straus and Don Stoddard. Not long after, he tipped a few with Celoos in Rahars one night. Hope they haven't been working you too hard, Spence.

Sam and Rita Bowlbly have been blessed with the first addition to their family. On April 18 Karen Anne was born and is doing fine. The old Bowler is off to a fast start. Not' to be outclassed, however, by such news from the West, Mike and Sue Hollern had their first on April 24, also a girl, Leslie Chase. I am surprised that Mike wasn't out

on the golf course when Sue went to the hospital. Guess it was bad weather that day. I always find it difficult to write a conclusion to this column. This time I'm not going to try
