With a tip of the hat to Ralph HunterM'32 and Marsh Tenney M'44 for their fine work as interim Acting Deans, we are pleased to welcome our new Dean, Carleton B. Chapman, M.D., who assumed the office on October 1. We anticipate continuation of the forward program of the School under his leadership.
Operations are already underway to erect a Butler Building just north of the service entrance on the ground floor of the Medical Science Building. This is planned to provide approximately 3000 square feet of additional space for laboratories and storage.
Oldtimers (that means prior to 1952) will be saddened to learn of the death on September 18 of Mrs. Margaret Robinson who served as Medical Librarian for many years before that date.

D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. ... The Dave Lees M'55, with their daughter and son, are back in his home town (Portland, Oregon) doing Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
