Well I spent a few boastful weeks priding myself on those fast-growing twins belonging to Susan and me. Then the phone rang bringing into the house the voice of my old roommate from Russell Sage, JohnWilkinson. Wouldn't you know it, but Wilkie and Judy have the same early morning problems. On April 25 Lane and Lara joined the Wilkinson family. Wilkie reports that his family is just fine and that his twins can lick mine. The third member from that Russell Sage room, Walter Goedkoop, has not yet called in his results, if any.

John is working with Palco Corporation in Minneapolis, and is active with the Dartmouth Alumni Club in providing summer jobs for undergraduates. A new Minneapolis neighbor of the Wilkinsons is TomCranna. Tom and Bonnie moved to the Twin City area this fall and Tom started studying at the University of Minnesota Law School.

From out west in California comes a cheerful letter from the Kent Mortons. They spent the summer in New York following the reunion as Kent was working with Eastman Kodak, but are now back in Palo Alto where Kent is in his last year of the M.B.A. program at San Jose State. While Kent studies, Dianne is secretary for the Guidance Department of the Palo Alto School District. Little John Craig, now three years old (is it possible) is also studying: at the Bo-Peep Nursery School.

The Mortons have new next-door neighbors also. Tom and Marcia Laris have now moved out to the west coast and have invaded the apartment next to the Mortons. You guessed it, Tom is still running and managed to skip through the tulips for thirty miles the other day. Better than fight all that traffic, huh, Tom?

Paul Weinberg surprised Kent with a phone call originating from Fort Hood, Texas. This information along with the newsy letter Paul sent to me, relates that the new Captain Weinberg is on the Staff Judge Advocate's division and is headed for Saigon in January.

Other news received from the Mortons is that Terry Holland is affiliated with G.E. and is situated in Mexico City right now and is headed for San Francisco shortly. Dick Hannah has begun his internship at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.

Another letter from California brought word that Sam and Marilee Anderson were blessed with an added member, Sarah Elizabeth who arrived August 9. Another Dartmouth daughter, Cynthia Lyn was born to the Larry Janyes' on July 14. Larry is spending his time as a buyer for the J.C. Penney Company.

Bob Goodman is now known as Doctor Robert L. Goodman following his graduation from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Bob and his Mrs., Paula are residing in Watertown, Mass.! while Bob completes his internship at Beth Israel Hospital.

Another Dartmouth doctor is Harold Lasser who graduated from Chicago Medical School and is interning at the Hospital for Joint Diseases while his wife, Suzanne waits up for him. George Olson is now doctoring at the University Hospital in Cleveland after picking up his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard. George's wife Deborah received her master's in history from B.U. and will work toward her Ph.D. at Western Reserve University.

Quite a few engagements and weddings to report as the bachelor ranks continue to dwindle. That famed Psi U bike rider Nick King rode down a church aisle in Seattle. Last June 18 Miss Sally Anna Isaacson of Mambe, Wash., became Mrs. King. Nick and Sally were last located in Los Alamos, N. Mex. Joining Nick and Sally in celebrating a June 18 wedding were Jim Smith and Miss Loretta Anne Kane of Washington, D.C. Jim picked up his advanced degrees at the University of Maryland and is now a mathematics instructor at Southern Connecticut State College in New Haven.

Married a week later in June was NickStowe. On June 25 Nick and Judith Anne Allen of Parmo, Ohio, exchanged vows. The bride is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. John Eckels was married on August 11 to Miriam Pauline Thomas. The bride is doing graduate work at the University of Missouri, Kansas City branch. John is now happily engaged with Uncle Sam's Army at Fort Benning, working with the Judge Advocate's Corps following his graduation from Stanford Law School.

Jim Abramsan is headed toward marital bliss also. Jim finally found the right girl from Skids and is now engaged to Joan Paley of Providence, R.I. Jim is now attending the Harvard Business School. Lt.Thomas C. Green, who toils for the Army after receiving his law degree from Yale is headed down the aisle soon with Miss Rochelle Joy Kutches of Minneapolis. The future Mrs. Green is on the stafF of the United States mission to the United Na- tions, joining the staff after graduating from the University of California.

That little giant from Watertown, Mass., Lou Setti was married on July 31. The new Mrs. Setti is the former Nongnart Niamsiri from Bangkok, Thailand. Lou met Nongnart while doing Peace Corps work in Thailand, and as Gordi Williamson says, she's a little giant too.

Keep me posted on what's happening. Spring seems a long way off, and any and all news is welcomed to keep away the winter chill.
