Coach John Curtis finished his first season at Dartmouth with a fine 5-1 freshman football record. The Pea Green team was 3-0 against Ivy opponents (Brown 49-8, Harvard 14-13, and Yale 7-6). Outside the league the Little Green defeated Holy Cross 21-14 and Boston College 33-14, and lost to New Hampshire 27-6.

Tom Miller, a 6-1, 190-pound halfback, won scoring and rushing honors. Miller had 24 points (four TDs) and averaged 6.8 yards a carry. Fullback Jim Chartrand, 6-0, 195, averaged 4.7. Quarterback Bill Koenig, 6-1, 190, threw 25 for 64 for 498 yards and five TDs. End John Wimsatt, 6-3, 208, was the leading pass receiver with 12 receptions for 178 yards and three TDs. There were twelve different players in the scoring figures. There were 102 men on the roster before the season finale here with B.C.

John F. Kenfield (r), Dartmouth's newsquash and tennis coach, with CaptainCarter Hall '67 of the squash team. Kenfield was tennis coach at North CarolinaState for 15 years before coming to Dartmouth. this fall.
