This is being written on a beautiful sunny day following a 10 below zero morning; but, with all the whiteness of deep snow outside, it is exactly the type of weather for which ski bunnies and resort operators pray. Here's hoping it lasts for Carnival, scheduled for this weekend.

Former competitors in the Annual Ski Party will not be surprised to learn that the Faculty Team ran away with the competitive events. The following dinner and evening entertainment drew a full house in the Syvertsen Room, and the whole affair was a huge success.

The work of the Admissions Committee in the selection of the 1966 fall entering class is rapidly drawing to a close. The office handled some 1500 inquiries with approximately 750 completed applications. After preliminary screening some 300 applicants were interviewed to fill the class of 48. On the roster are representatives of 17 colleges or universities, including four females.

We have welcomed back into the active fold John (Jack) P. Bowler M'17 as Special Assistant to the Dean. It certainly looks natural to see Jack rushing around getting things done!

Incidental Intelligence - Did you know that Jesse Gait M'37 is President of the New Hampshire Medical Society? . . . And that he is a member of the Dover (N. H.) School Committee which is chaired by Bob Wilson M'43. . . . Another interesting DMS team is that of Ed Bayrd M'40, as Editor-in-Chief, and Eric Wollaeger M'32, as Associate Editor, of the Mayo Clinic Proceedings. . . . Jack Schleicher M'41 modestly admits that the Kathy Schleicher who made "Who's Who Among American University Students" is his daughter.

Pete Fleming M'53 joyfully reports that he has finally opened his own office in New York and is associated with St. Vincent's in general and vascular surgery. Pete also wrote that in addition to Jim Harshbarger M'53, as previously reported, Gil Mueller M'52,Floyd Parks M's3 and he were inducted as F.A.C.S.'s last October. Sorry I missed you, Fellows! . . . Tom Magill M'60, presently a third-year resident in Surgery at Presbyterian, and Marge (R.N., MHMH) returned for a short visit to acquaint their two children with Hanover. . . . Refreshed by a tour of duty in Hawaii's salubrious climate, Bob DiMauro M'60 has gone to work in a radiology residency at Presbyterian. . . . Charlie Eytel M'60 has also deserted the Pacific area and is now at the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia. . . . Unconfirmed word has reached us that Tay Weinman M'60 acquired a wife in Iceland. Details please!

Team physician for the West Point hockey team when it came to Hanover was none other than our own Marty Weiss M'61. . . . Rog Christian M'63 came to town to do some skiing and ended up working in the Pathology Department. . . . Note to Abe Aronow M'64: "Who was that young lady I seen you with" on your January trip to Hanover?
