The varsity linksmen finished with a 6-8 summary, following finale losses to Springfield and New Hampshire. Against the Wildcats Coach Johnson's squad split the first six matches 3-3, with the final match tied after 18 holes. New Hampshire took the match by a stroke in sudden death on the 19th.

The entire season was characterized by close scores, win or lose. Most of this year's team returns, a notable exception being Captain Jeff LeVeen, so experience will be deep next year. Also joining the varsity will be a smooth Pea Green team which won eight straight matches this spring, losing only their opener.
