Eleven undergraduates have been selected to work with the disadvantaged boys in Dartmouth's ABC Program this summer. In preparation for work as resident dormitory study supervisors and tutors in mathematics and English, the students will take a special course in teacher preparation this spring, visit the project's participating schools, meet with resident tutors from the sister project at Mt. Holyoke, and have weekly dinner meetings with representatives from various campus departments and organizations cooperating in the eight-week program.
The tutors, each of whom will be responsible for eight boys, are: Edward W. Campion II '67, Bronxville, N. Y.; Richard W. Clapp '67, Lewiston, Me.; Frank E. Couper '68, Kensington, Md.; Richard J. Dellamora '66, Detroit, Mich.; Edward P. Jereb '66, Beaverdale, Pa.; Forrester A. Lee Jr. '68, Claymont, Del.; John X. McCarthy '61, Bedford, N. H.; Christopher R. Redden '68, Louisville, Ky.; Robert B. Reich '68, S. Salem, N. Y.; and Joe N. Wright '68, Charleston, S. C. Michael A. Hennessey '67, of New York, N. Y., will serve as staff assistant and alternate resident tutor.
