Our 59th Annual Meeting was attended by 120 alumni who spent a most enjoyable evening at the Bellevue Stratford Hotel on March 29, 1966. Our featured speaker of the evening was President John Sloan Dickev'29 who spoke about the aspects which he considers to be the most important part of a liberal arts college and the type of education that such a college must offer to its students. A few brief remarks were also made by Alumni Fund Chairman RunertC. Thompson Jr. '28.
Prior to the annual dinner a meeting was held for Class Agents in the area which was attended by approximately 40 assistant class agents.
At the business meeting the followine were elected as our officers for the coming year: Russell C. Dilks '51, president; DavidJ. Steinberg '55, vice president; Samuel T.Swansen '59, secretary; Russell A. McAlpine Jr. '59, treasurer. Members-at-large to the executive committee to serve for a 2-year term: J. Harris Latimer '35 and William C. Melohn '49. Bob Clothier Jr. '58 and Alvin G. Dodd '35 each has one year remain- ing on his existing term.
Appointments made were John B. Nason III '59, Scholarship Fund Chairman; Lowell (Tim) S. Thomas Jr. '53, Tax Exemption Chairman; William C. Melohn '49, Program Chairman; John (Tim) Sears '56, Vocational Chairman; Richard W. Lippman '42, Newsletter Editor, and Peter M. Stern '63, Undergraduate Relations Chairman.
We are most proud of the work of John B. Nason III '59 as he has made our Scholarship Fund grow at a swift rate. In a few years we hope to be at a point where we can fund a scholarship out of our income. John announced that a contribution of $1,750.00 will be sent to Hanover representing contributions and profits from activities for 1965 which will bring our Scholarship Fund to approximately $8,000.00.

Sunday, June 26 will be the date of our Annual Picnic at the farm of Hugh Kenworthy '41, in Chester Spring, Pa.
Our dues campaign and Scholarship Fund campaign are still continuing and in order to make our Club a truly great club we need all the alumni in the area as dues paying members and contributors.
This marks the end of my tenure as secretary of the Club and future articles will be written by Samuel T. Swansen '59.
