On April 25, 1965, approximately 15 alumni gathered at Jim Tindle's Valley Forge Farm for our Annual Freshman Holding Operation. Coach Jack Musick and Bruce McKissock '66 were on hand to talk about the College and answer questions for the 20 or so future '69's who were present with their fathers. This affair is mainly notable in that it will be the last held at Jim Tindle's Valley Forge Farm. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is taking Jim's farm in July of this year and making it a part of the Valley Forge Park. For many, many years we have been fortunate in being able to enjoy Jim's hospitality for numerous annual affairs such as family picnics, Freshman Holding Operation, enrollment meetings with admissions officers and coaches, etc. On behalf of all Dartmouth men, Jim, we wish to express our deepest thanks and appreciation.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 27, 1965 for our annual picnic at the Chester Springs Farm of Hugh Kenworlhy Jr. '41. If you are reading this article and did not know of our dance being held on May 21, it is because you are a non-dues paying member. We have numerous affairs going on during the year as well as an excellent Newsletter informing all in the area of our Club's functions and news about alumni. To find out about all of this, please pay your dues.
