Six classmates were present at the 65th reunion: Harland Gate with his nephew and wife; Frank Cudworth, his wife, daughter and her family; George French; Harry Gilmore and his son Harry Jr. '34; CharlesHildreth and wife and Thomas McGovern and wife. These men are 25% of the 25 living members of the class. 101 men graduated in 1901.
It was very pleasing to also have present Mrs. Carl Owen and her son Richard '45; also the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Fifield. He is in the Class of 1967; Mrs. Fifield is the daughter of classmate Ned Warren.
Outstanding event of the reunion was a delightful dinner on Saturday evening at the lovely home of the Fifields in Orford.
At a most informal class meeting the following officers were elected; Thomas McGovern, secretary and Harry Gilmore, treasurer, and Harland Cate, class agent. They succeed Frank Cudworth who has been filling various offices most faithfully for the past two years. For reasons of health he has asked to be relieved but will carry on as bequest chairman of the class.
