We are now meeting every Tuesday at noon in the private dining room on the 11th floor of Kaufmann's. This is where we spent many pleasant hours in the past - fine food, reasonable prices, good service.
Our Annual Freshman send-off luncheon was held August 30. We entertained about a dozen '71's and their fathers. This looks like another fine group. This year the father and son meeting for all undergraduates will be held Tuesday, December 26. We hope to have a good turnout.
Rem Drury '48 is back in town for a while after a tour of duty with Gulf in the Far East. But George Scott '25 has been sent to the Middle East by the same firm. EdKennard '29 is also back in Pittsburgh, as chairman of the Anthropology Department at Pitt. Ed spent a year sabbatical teaching at Dartmouth. Jim Haines '62 has joined the Big Green Mob at Mellon Bank. The departure of dynamic Jack Huber '63 has left a gaping hole in the local roster. He took charge of 50 per cent of last year's functions. Perhaps Atlanta would lend him to us next picnic time.
