Big news for '27 - Since Mike Choukas has chucked all tasks, your President had to find a successor to this eminent Speakeasy editor. I quote happily from his letter to your new editor - Mr William G. North, Dublin School Inc., Box 503, Dublin, N. H. "Dear Bill, your decision to assume editorial responsibilities for the Newsletter is the most comforting news I've had in many moons. Exhilarating would more accurately describe the feeling, for I sense that in you the Class continues its march towards excellence - a conclusion your Pine Tree assignment protended. I'm delighted, and will direct all my grandsons to Dublin."
So - Mike is now really footloose and fancy free. He was in Rye, N. H. for the summer - neighbor of Phil Fowler and on to "perhaps the Greek Isles, a carefree sea voyage to nowhere, or even Florida for a short while and wherever the winds of gypsy life would carry us."
As we bid Mike bon voyage, let's welcome Bill North aboard with lots of big newsy letters that can't find space here.
