First, you will be glad to hear that DonMcCall has accepted the New York chairmanship. We had lunch recently at the New York Dartmouth Club and set April 17 as the date of the New York '68 dinner. One of 1927's most distinguished members, Federal Judge Dudley Bonsai will be the main speaker of the evening. As a curtain raiser your itchy-footed class secretary will show a few pictures he took of the wild beasts of Africa! Make a date to come to New York Dartmouth Club and ask your bride to sing nicely, "Take Me Along - Take Me Along, and then respond properly.

The '27 Florida influx was swelled this winter. Don O'Hara and Alice sold their Mew Jersey home and, bag and baggage, moved to Pompano Beach - address: Palm Club #61. Don writes: "We stayed with the Rolfe Harveys on our way down and had dinner the other night with Bill Holland and Dorothy who were visiting their son Dick in Miami. Would be glad to see any of our classmates who might be in the area."

Above was promptly followed by a note from Marshall Lovegrove, who says, on doctors' orders, they have moved to DeBary, Fla — 51 Floridana Road. Lovey says he will miss us this fall. Phil Fowler will have to get a new right hand for the fall reunion. Good luck, Lovey, and keep healthy.

After I sent in the story of the death of Joe Kelley, got a nice letter from Al Lagacy. He and his wife Ethel and Frank Cloran represented the class at the funeral. Al says Joe's respect on the Cape was evidenced by an overflow turn-out to pay last respects. "We had Dotty, his widow, and Frank Cloran here for dinner and she asked me to write. She's a grand girl, talented artist, and we are sure she and Joe, in their few years of marriage, were extremely devoted and happy. We (the Lagacys) are both well and, if possible, more rabid Cape Codders after five years than most of the natives."

We needed this, Al, to salt a little of the Florida propaganda we get continually. RogBraman of Newport, R. 1., was another who sent me a story about Joe Keliey. Good to hear from him.

Bert Gustin, Boston Manager of the American Felt Co., headlined a recent Lex- ington Lions Club meeting. -

I reported last month that Jack Andrews was about to retire. I received a very complete story about Jack which I wish I could include in full. For 20 years Jack has been active with the Urban League of Spring-field, Mass., and served as its president for the last eight years. His wife Nancy helped organize the Urban League Guild. Jack enclosed a map of his summer place on Route 2 on Lake Champlain - Kibbes Point. Five boats in his fleet, main cottage, and three sleeping cottages!

I will forward a package to Mike for fur- ther coverage in the next Speak. A card from Mike Choukas from Tarpon Springs, Fla. - "We came down here to get defrosted - will return to Hanover about middle of March, expecting Phil Fowler next week."

By the time you get this, you will have received a plaintive plea from me to let me know whether to print a copy of the greatest '27 opus since our graduating Aegis, "The 40th Report." Hate to print too few - class can't afford more than you want - so please let me know yes or no. See you - Dartmouth Club, N.Y.C., April 17.

Flash: The following word just received from Howie Mullin: "On February 1, I shall become Associate Dean for Administration, Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, 339 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, 111. 60611. Edna and 1 will be moving to Chicago as soon as quarters can be located. This location is native to us both, and more central to our present family situation, with Liz, Bill, Penn, and John there, and Ann only 200 miles away. The days and years ahead should be exciting, and the challenge of 'academia' invigorating. We are both pleased with the new vista."

Congratulations Dean Mullin, from all of us that you and Edna are able to get back home under such wonderful circumstances.
