MARCH 1968 ALBERT E. SMITH, EDWARD H. KENERSON

It is almost to the deadline for the March notes and as yet I have had but one letter from you folk and that of a more or less personal nature. The writer makes the same comment that Dick Brown threw at me a few years back. Like Dick, he thinks our group has reached an age when we cannot do much and so have nothing to write about. To a certain degree this may be so but I feel you can still write something about yourself not doing something but still being something or somebody. Many of us have some outside interests as for example all the jobs you have wished on me for 1903.

This year Lewis Haney has lifted a big load off me with his work on the June Reunion. Without his help I would not have too much time for the Alumni Fund. It will only be a matter of a few days before this will get going on April 1. Your aid as well as your support will help to keep you on the up-and-up and be a real aid to me at the same time.

According to my class listing, in addition to my own, Horace Kidger, Jules Walther, and Lewis Haney have birthdays in this month of March. Many happy returns to all of you from all of us.
