I just finished a study of the mobility of our class. D'you know that over 70% are now living in a town other than the one listed as their residence in the '61 Green Book! Another - we only had about twenty '61's from abroad, now there are over 75 of us doing things in foreign countries. Naturally, most of the original twenty stayed in the U.S. A few quick examples of tried and true homebodies who not only left Dartmouth upon graduating, but are now in some ridiculously remote nation. Maynard Wheeler is a Peace Corps physician in Cuzco, Peru; Gil and Debby Low are in Paris where Gilbert is trying to stop the gold drain via insidiously clever financial legerdemain; Bruce Lacoss is also in Paris and also in banking (probably also in legerdemain); John Tottle is associated with CARE in Orissa, India; and finally, RickJaspersen is a visiting professor in Economics at the University of Chile in Santiago. Those five are just a sampling of the way you swingers move around.

Frank Magary, now known as Mac, has been reported to have taken to wife. The report appears reliable since it comes from the firm but pliant lips of the bride herself. Therefore, barring the unscheduled return of the Man of 1000 Faces disguised as Magary, she is indeed married ... to him. The ring thing was held in the Wayfarers' Chapel in Portuguese Bend, Calif, (does N.Y. state recognize that as legal?). The newlyweds, bless them, are living in a dream cottage in the Berkeley Hills overlooking San Francisco and Pocatello, Idaho. Wife Joan (formerly Miss Delmonte) reports that Mac is building furniture and writing advertising for the Ski Hut in B-B-Berkeley.

Walston & Co., Inc., nationwide investment firm, has elected Murray Stiles an assistant vice president. As such he will head the firm's municipal bond trading department with headquarters in Chicago. Since graduation Jim has held positions with Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company and with Allan Blair & Company where he was vice president and treasurer. Memberships reported include the Exempter's Club and the Municipal Bond Club of Chicago.

News Flash from the worid of Big Business — Southern Division: Don Shropshire, formerly distinguished as the best touch football quarterback east of Middlebury has been promoted in his Company, IBM. Don used to be a salesman, now he's the marketing manager for the Atlanta office. In fact, Don is working so hard he had to pay his wife 43 .. . cash ... to write me and tell the good news. Thanks Jeanne, m'love, next time hold out for an even halfdollar.

Sam Nuckols is a full-fledged architect with the Philadelphia firm of George M. Ewing Co. Sam recently made the papers because of his work on the Chester Christian School building in Brookhaven, Pa.

Egad, still more news from Atlanta.... Phil Kerce who has been variously reported as being an ant farmer in Des Moines, head of the Pearly Gap, Vt., Vice Squad and instructor in First Aid techniques to a group of Kamakaze pilots is none of those! Phil is the assistant international officer at the Citizens and Southern National Bank in Atlanta. Phil has been with the bank since 1966.

The scourge of the insurance world. BillRicker has joined a new company. Bill is now working on fire and casualty insurance for the Hickok-Boardman agency in Burlington, Vt.

Here's a winner. ... Jim Smith (that's James T. Smith, son) is not a truck farmer in Nova Scotia, he is a real live doctor. Jim and his wife of five years are living in Durham, N.C., where Jim does his sorcery at the Duke Medical School-Radiology Dept. The Smiths are expecting their first (the doctor assures me it's to be a boy) any day. I'm not sure what Smitty does with all his spare time (probably up to three minutes a day) but he sounded as if he knew one end of a golf club from the other so maybe that's what he and fellow Duke Doc Doug Zipes do from time to time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of now, yes, now! please send all your cards and letters to me at a new address. To wit: Box 313, Wayzata, Minnesota. I have taken a turn in the old career and will now be writing copy and generally making myself useful and creative around Knox-Reeves Advertising Agency in Minneapolis. My wife and I will probably be opening another of our dress shop boutiques in Mpls., bringing the total number of stores in the Heathcote chain to two. That's only 1,473 less than Sears. If any of you dim-bulbs want advice on what's hip in contemporary fashion and like that, write and I'll ask my wife.

Write Tom Allen, 1521 Elm St., Albert Lea, Minn., a note full of information of a personal and private nature so that he can exploit you in the Newsletter.
