MARCH 1968 HARRY W. SAVAGE M' 27

The annual Faculty-Student Slalom has come and gone with the faculty showing the way to the students on the slopes even as in the classroom and laboratories. The program included such items as a dinner and an evening at the Casino. Alumni returning for the event included: Sandy and John Davenport M'66 and Tina Clark M'66 from Montreal; Ken Falchuk M'63, Deane Mosher M'66, Dick Kaiser M'67, Jack Macdonald M'67 and family, Steve Rudy M'67, and Mike Swanson M'67 from Boston. Already the students are chanting, "Wait until next year!"

Intensive effort is being exerted by the entire faculty to improve the curriculum. Meetings are held regularly with each department presenting its program for constructive criticism by faculty members. Although finalization is still in the future, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the results will prove the many man-hours involved are definitely worthwhile.

In case you are interested in statistics, the ratio of completed applications to available openings in the 1968 fall entering class is running 16:1.
