FRESHMAN SPORTS

The Pea Green baseballers, after a stellar 12-0 record in 1967, jumped off to another fine start under first season Coach Fred Kelley, defeating Kimball Union 12-1. Craig Conklin led for the Little Indians at the plate, collecting two singles, a double, and a home run. Equally outstanding was the one-hit pitching of Dartmouth's John Prado. KUA connected for a lone double in the seventh.

Frosh lacrosse, after an opening win over Kimball Union, lost its contests with Brown and Harvard. A strong team, the Pea Green is working for a tighter defense.
