APRIL 1969 ALBERT E. SMITH, LEWIS H. HANEY

As requested by Charles Widmayer, our MAGAZINE editor, I am holding down this month's news so that you all can get the benefit of reading the MAGAZINE article on the Dartmouth College Case by Dick Morin '24, Librarian Emeritus. This article is especially timely in this Bicentennial Year.

I do want to thank Lewis Haney for helping me out so splendidly with the March notes — in return please each of you help him out in his first efforts as Class Agent in this 1969 Alumni Fund Campaign.

Have had letters from Mrs. ArthurCohen, Mrs. John Wentworth, and Mrs.Frank Perham. Our only member whose birth month in April is that of HowardRopes. I hope he is well and able to drop me a line.

Be sure to read the article on the Dartmouth College Case and to help LewisHaney put over the Alumni Fund Campaign; also a letter to your Secretary if you can squeeze in the time.
