FEBRUARY 1969 ALBERT E. SMITH, LEWIS H. HANEY

As you were advised after our 65th Reunion our enlarged executive committee, Kimball, Haney, Kidger and self ex officio, approved the appointment of Lewis Haney and his acceptance to take on the jobs of Class Agent and Bequest Chairman. I am mentioning these appointments at this time because, as you know, on April 1 the Alumni Fund Campaign will start and Lewis will be getting busy. I hope and now ask that you all give Lewis the aid and support you have always given me.

There is very little news this month. A letter from Mrs. Willard Hartshorn tells of her and daughter Mary's continued interest in the Class and the MAGAZINE. Their address seems to be at Claremont Manor, Claremont, Calif. 91711. Mrs. Gink Ford seems to be better after a setback. 1 hope none of you get this Asiatic Flu. Mrs. Ag is, or was when this was being typed, again at the hospital; not the flu but an intestinal mix-up. We hope to get her back home in a matter of days. I have been so busy seeing her at the hospital and being my own housekeeper and looking for another more skilled, that I have made only a dent getting out some greeting cards. It looks as if I will still be at it at Easter time.

Please at least one of you each month write me, good news I hope,- but even not so good if you have to and need our sympathy.
