As part of the continuing buildup of programs relating to Dartmouth's outdoor resources, Earl R. Jette, a specialist in forestry resource management and administration, has been appointed assistant to the executive director of the Dartmouth Outing Club.
Mr. Jette, who was awarded his Master of Forestry degree by Yale this year, graduated from the University of Maine in 1961 as a forestry management major. He spent the next six years with the Firestone Co. in Harbel, Liberia, West Africa, rising to group manager of several 2500-acre divisions of a rubber plantation. He returned to this country in 1968 to enter Yale. Married and the father of five, Jette is a native of nearby Lebanon, N. H„ and an Army veteran.
