Those who attended the monthly luncheon on October 6 had a very pleasant surprise. Bill Behrens '56 had obtained the 16 mm. film, in color, showing the highlights of the 1969 football season. It is an excellent film and it was thrilling to see that team in action. Sorry we did not know the film was available until a few days before the luncheon so did not have time to get out a special notice.

It was decided at the November 3 luncheon to have the usual Christmas party and Dick Vaules '57 was named chairman of the committee to make arrangements.

Dune Newell '36 gave us an interesting talk on President Kemeny and developments at Hanover, and on the status of the Third Century Fund. An interesting letter and a card from Joyce Craig '70, valedictorian of his class, and now studying at Oxford, England, were read.

It was good to see so many of our "regulars" back from summer vacations. Among those at the luncheon were Bill Behrens '56, Wally Baker Jr. '46, Wallace Baker Sr. '19. Skip French '38, Jim Felter '46, Wayne Frerichs '46, Charlie Henderson '62, Dick Holbrook '31, Dick Loughry '34, Dune Newell '36, James Pearson '36, Richard O'Riley '49, Truman Metzel '23, Tower Snow '31, Bill Terry '13, Dick Vaules '57, Lewis Waterbury '12.
