The December luncheon was attended by most of the "regulars" and Dick Vaules '57 reported on the plans for the annual Christmas party for students home on their vacation and for prospective students and their parents. That party was held the evening of December 29. It was well attended and a good time had by all.

The January 5 luncheon, was one of the best for some time. Most of the "regulars" showed up and it was good to have Richard Carter '27 back in town again. Ken Todd '32 and Fred Klein '37 joined us for the first time that we remember and we hope they will be "regulars." BertRussell '28 was in town and like a good Dartmouth man came around for the luncheon.

Lowell Wormley '27 slipped into the luncheon room before any of us arrived and decorated the wall back of the head table with a placard indicating that Dartmouth was the number one team in 1970, a large Dartmouth shield below it and a "D" sweater below the shield. It gave us all a thrill and shows how strong the Dartmouth spirit is out here.
