Grant Standbrook has been named Dartmouth's head coach of soccer, succeeding Whitey Burnham who became Assistant Director of Athletics in December. Standbrook came to Dartmouth in 1966 as assistant coach of soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. He will continue as assistant and freshman hockey coach but will relinquish his freshman lacrosse coaching duties after the 1970 season. His record in three seasons as freshman soccer coach was 14-9-3, including a 7-1 record in 1967 and a 4-2-2 mark last fall. ... Art Brown from Wellesley Hills, Mass., is the 1970 varsity wrestling captain. ... Four freshman teams have elected captains. James Brown is captain of freshman basketball and Dana Johnson, a center from Calgary, Alberta, is the freshman hockey captain. Steve Quigley is freshman swimming captain and Doug Donahue is the freshman squash captain.
