The new academic year for the club was marked in gala style at our annual meeting and dinner which was held on September 9, 1970 at Teddy's Steak House. At that time it was a great pleasure for us to welcome many members of the incoming freshman class who were present at the dinner.

We also announced the election of the following new officers of our club: President, Oily Quayle III '42; vice president, Pete Jaffee '59; vice president, JackMorris '53; vice president, Joe Stevenson'57; treasurer, Frank Bruni '57; secretary, Dick Prior '60.

We were fortunate in having as a guest speaker at our dinner George H. Colton'35, Vice President for Development, who gave us an enlightening talk about problems at the College and attitudes of students and alumni. The discussion held on the issue of coeducation was particularly interesting.

Most of the effort of the club is now looking forward to the up coming presentation we will have of the Dartmouth Glee Club which will take place on Friday night, March 19, 1971. All Dartmouth alumni should note down this date on your calendar and plan to attend. We are very fortunate this year in having Al - Glick '60 running this concert for us and we are anticipating an exciting evening.
