The man of the year in Beverly, Mass., is Bert Glovsky, who was recently honored by his home town. Bert, a practicing attorney was cited for his varied commumty activities such as Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts, Rotary, and United Fund.

Corporate advances again find '45s on the move. Tom Murray has been appointed vice-president (marketing and operations) for Jacqueline Brandywynne Associates Tom, a specialist in the area of consumer packaged goods and services, lives in West port, Conn. John Reynolds is now secretary, Insurance Co. of North America. John has been with IN A since 1958 and has been assistant secretary since 1968. Carl Tourtellot is vice-president (marketing) of Columbian Rope Co. of Auburn, N. Y. Carl, Trade and the family left New Jersey in February and are now living in Auburn.

His convalescence will hopefully be completed by the time this column is read, but Pete Beck, still living dangerously, survived a light plane crash in Mexico in March. Pete was on a medical missionary trip to a remote Indian tribe when the accident occurred and was evacuated to Baylor Hospital, Dallas, Texas.

Rollie Beers, professor of radiological sciences at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, is a member of the Chesapeake Bay Research Committee which is developing a plan to establish a management program for the entire bay region.
