Richard K. Fox has been named Assistant Dean for Development for the Tucker Foundation where he has been executive officer since July 1970. He will be responsible for the development of financial resources to fund the many programs sponsored by the foundation, including the Public School ABC (A Better Chance) program, the Tucker Intern programs, and Outward Bound.

Mr. Fox joined the Dartmouth administration in 1967 as director of the College's Peace Corps training programs after a year as executive director of Southeastern Vermont Community Action, Inc., a federally funded anti-poverty agency. From 1961 to 1964 he taught mathematics and religious studies at Vermont Academy, and during the 1970 academic year at Dartmouth, he was a lecturer in education.

A 1960 graduate of Brown University, Mr. Fox also attended the Pacific School of Religion at Berkeley, Calif., and is currently completing work toward his master's degree in education at the Antioch-Putney Graduate School.
