The Dartmouth Third Century Fund is making excellent headway and it is hoped that every alumnus will pledge something and participate in the Dartmouth cause.
Miriam Whitaker from DeBary, Fla., writes that Dr. Harry S. Whitaker is back home in a wheel chair and eats and sleeps well. He has been at the Manor for some time. We wish you the best of health, Harry.
Bill Sanborn's widow, Edith Sanborn of Apt. 330, Mease Manor, Dunedin, Fla. 33528 has been in the hospital for seven weeks with a coronary infarction. Edith is home again. Her grandson Bryant's wife and daughter were in an automobile accident in June. They both passed away as a result.
Dr. Earle B. Fowler of 930 Jackson Blvd., River Forest, 111. 60305 and his wife Barbara are comfortable in their little home and keep busy. Earle says that if they ever do go East again we will find them sitting on our doorstep some early morning. I hope they can make it.
Edward Ashley, the retired Pullman Co. man, is in Evanston, Ill., after spending the summer at Middlebury, Vt., and would enjoy having classmates visit him anytime they are in the vicinity.

Helena and Crick Crocker returned to their home at 105 Churchill Lane, Milton, Mass. 02186 on October 1 after an enjoyable summer at their summer residence in South Strafford, Vt.
Classmates having birthdays in November are George H. Hoyt, born November, 1885 and Clifford E. Norris, born November 7, 1875. Cliff is now 91 years old and we hope that he will live to be 100.
Your secretary celebrated his 85th birthday on September 19 with a family dinner party. I enjoyed good health and received many birthday cards and some presents from classmates, relatives, and friends. My thanks to you all.
