Mason Trophy Winner
NOVEMBER 1972

At an alumni dinner in late June, William M. Higgins '66 was honored by the Dartmouth Alumni Fund Committee as the outstanding head agent of the 1971 campaign among classes one to ten years out of college. He received the annual John R. Mason Trophy and was cited as follows:

"Bill Higgins has served his Class of 1966 as Head Agent ever since graduation. Each year, thanks to his thoughtful leadership and supported by a strong team of Class Agents, the Class of 1966 has shown constant improvement in both donors and dollars. In the 1971 campaign the Class raised some $7,885 from 347 donors to finish in a virtual tie for first place in the Group VIII Green Derby. In so doing the Class of 1966 also ranked third among all non-reunion classes in the greatest dollar improvement category. The Alumni Fund Committee is pleased to honor Bill Higgins, as the outstanding Head Agent of a class one to ten years out of College, by presenting him and the entire 1966 fellowship with the John R. Mason Trophy for the 1971 Alumni Fund Campaign."
